I am looking for yoyo that will stay down long enough to do string tricks and still come back up. Kinda like the Dark magic II did ---

Are you trying to do modern responsive tricks? The Butterfly XT is a modern responsive beast for $5. I also can’t recommend the Origen highly enough. ---

For the DM2 like experience I feel like the FH1 is the best option here. ---

Plastic. Unresponsive enough for Kwyjibo, but still responsive. The others I mentioned are more for responsive play. I misunderstood the question 😅 ---

The metal is unresponsive out of the box IIRC, unless you get the small bearing version. ---

Our newest release, the AoE comes in responsive pre installed now at yoyoexpert. It comes with a longer Axle and wider Bearing for unresponsive too. ---
