# What if... And how...

What if you’re in a competition and your yo-yo goes dead. As seen in the tutorials Andre’ or… well I don’t know his name; whenever he has a dead yo yo, all he does is toss it up and it winds up all the way. Does he teach it to you in a tutorial video? If you know, can you message me the link?  
How does he do it?

that’s called a snap start. you can find it in the tutorial section of YYE.
