feels a tad thicker then the sochi/zipline alpha ive been using. I really like poly/nylon blends and this plays 8/10 for me. ---

Today is one of the biggest days in my yoyo journey. Thanks to @yoyoretro, I have FINALLY acquired my white whale yoyo - a mint Gold Grail with original packaging. It’s taken me about 8 months to track one of these down, the longest I’ve searched for any yoyo in 12 years of throwing! Only had a few minutes to throw it in between work. Very fast and powerful. Still a little heavier than than the ‘competitive’ throws I own (OD Draupnir, Anglam 2, Converge) but it’s more nimble feeling than my Evora. A more capable player than me would likely be able to do great things with it 🙂 ---
