I love the Mowl Surveillance. I have two, in fact. But I always wished they would release a red one with silver rims. Unfortunately, Mowl is the company with some inexplicable aversion to silver rims on their bi-metals. ---

I think the reason for this, especially on the newer 7075 version of the Mowl Surveillance is that they blast the rims. Raw metal just doesnā€™t hold well with blasting. As for the old version, I have no idea. Do you have the newer Mowl Surveillance? ---

Ah I see, the specs have been updated to be lighter though. Thought maybe you could do a comparison haha. I prefer the engraving on the old ones much more but I just want any surveillance at this point. ---

Now I know why they are so hard to get a hold of. Amazing yoyo, slimmest unresponsive I own but it doesnā€™t play like that. So pumped about it that I actually ordered a Slam Dunk the other day just based on the fact that this one is so amazing, and that will be my very first bimetal. Thanks Jake Bullock, great yoyos sir. ---
