How I do it: fold strings in half fold in half again begin twisting the side that’s bent cw after it’s pretty twisted, fold in half again and twist ccw it’s basically the same method for making string, but done on bunches of string. ---

I’m pretty sure it’s one of those One Drop Coins that they probably put together with their scrap material. It’s kinda like a bitcoin in that it’s value fluctuates in terms of using it as a coupon at their venues.
