How do you like the Photon? I want one so bad, but they just don’t come in a colorway I want \>.\<'. They look like a really fun little yoyo though and are at a great price!
I do actually like most the colorways the yoyo comes in…I’m just super picky on what I add to my collection (💚)

I found the Photon to be too wide and too heavy for its diameter. I think it would have been a great little design if it was a few mm narrower and a few grams lighter.

I like it! For the price it seems like a good deal. I’m somewhat new to this whole unresponsive thing, so I’m sure I can’t appraise the actual rating of it like an experienced thrower. I’m a sucker for pink, but also dig the red/gold.

Actually I appreciate thoughts from less experienced throwers because I too am not all that experienced and can’t push yos to any limits.

In what may be my last yoyo purchase for a hot minute, just got a One Drop Prescription! When I visited One Drop back in November and played with a looooot of throws, this one stuck out to me. Glad I was able to grab one before full on lockdown! Now to fill all my spare time throwing it!

Unique :joy: It has the shape and spin of a horizon, but with the feel, catch zone, and play of a mono metal Marco. And the finger spin hub is just a ton of fun.

I’d love to see one of the top reviewers bring in a few new throwers and have them review some of the throws that get suggested as good for beginners.

Haven’t received anything in a while but I couldn’t pass up a good deal and a good a trade. And also, @fatguysnacks247 is a great dude for hooking me up with this case (despite the very pronounced vibe) and some string (zero vibe).
Also, my first One Drop (not counting the SK that I traded for and sold), and my first offstring yoyo that isn’t a Viper.

Congratulations! You have a Sumo in the very rare orange color (which was supposed to be the standard color but gave a lot of problems) and with the font of the initial writing, you have a very very rare object!
Do you notice the differences with mine? (which is not a standard Sumo … And it is a unique piece)

They look like 2 different yos to me. Not just all the differences with the etchings…but the rims of yours have a flat spot where the one of Joe’s doesn’t. Also the cups are slightly different (yours is smoother, where Joe’s has some…ripples (haha no idea what word to use here).
