I have heard the same thing about powder coat. It certainly has some vibe, but nothing I can feel in the string. The appeal of the pure white makes it worth it IMO

I really like the Duncan Barracuda. For the $20’ish I spent on it (got it on sale) it’s probably my favorite ‘budget’ throw I own. Mine is the newer model…I haven’t tried the older model like the one you got yesterday.
Really hoping to snag a green w/gold rims X at some point.

Yea I know, I just usually don’t limit the environment when playing with any of my yoyos. But considering that this is a pretty rare collector’s piece that sells for considerable coin, I wouldn’t be surprised if a few collectors never throw it more than once or twice.
As far as the powdercoat vibe, yea, this thing has considerable vibe. Doesn’t really affect the play though, and it is totally worth it for how cool it looks.

OMG to say im delighted is an understatement. A massive thank you to @AdamCheeseman for hooking me up with these 3 amazing yoyos and a pin and loads of free strings too. I cant believe it all mint and dead smooth like brand new.

The circle is only complete after you have bought and sold at least a hundred yoyos, and you find yourself posting a BST thread looking for the same yoyos you initially came on the forum to sell, only you are offering three times what you sold them for.

It’s a great Looper. Although the catch zone is quite tight, this is a very playable yoyo- just make sure you hit the gap:wink:. I threw it for an hour+ last night and am definitely enjoying it. Grinded learning 2.0 stall, kickflips to trap out. Landing the flip to trap is unforgiving, but so rewarding when you hit it.
