I’d love to replace it but I’d have to find some other ProtoStar to sacrifice… ---

Hadn’t been throwing due to, well…life. Finding the time again and adding some new throws. The last two months have been good! It’s incredible how well they throw. I think the CLYW Akita Scales edition is my current favorite. It finger grinds better than any YoYo I’ve ever thrown. kgb ---

That TYY was the last one they made and it is from 2015. I’ve set a goal for myself to try every SPYY model that was made. I’ve thrown the vast majority of them as of now and I’ve only parted with 3 so far. This one had eluded me for quite a while. ---

You know what I’ve noticed? Stings with a higher twist helix seem to be better quality. It’s a way to immediately (although loosely) determine the quality of a string just by looking at it. The YYSL string above is good quality. ---
