Received my One Drop Crucible Proto and I’m really digging this one. Still need to change SE’s and bearing to a concave to get a fair comparison to final release. Only laced up with my preferred string and length but it feels more powerful to me. These are just the gray that shipped with the first drops (so nobody starts looking for black JTs). I have Micro Caps in a production version. The prototype with JTs seems like it should be marginally heavier, but I don’t notice that it plays that way. Based on that, I may go back to JTs on production version. (Especially if they make gold or yellow.) ---

They’re both great throws, but each has its own personality. The Penumbra feels really floaty and light, yet surprisingly stable. It also makes this really interesting sound when the string hits it, almost like a little titanium ding! Such a cool and unique detail. The Onda feels like a great all-rounder, leaning more towards the speedy side, I guess. And the design is absolutely fabulous! The Oil Slick colorway looks like something from another universe. Such a beautiful yo-yo for the price. Honestly, I’m wondering how these are still in stock. 😅 ---

What a wild ride, the package was misdelivered 2 hours away due to an incorrect label being printed by the shipping company. After getting in touch with some folks I knew at the company I was able to retrieve the yo-yos. What a wild roller coaster ride ---
