Okay, so this is a bold claim… but not only do I think the P3AK is the best playing yoyo in the Peak lineup, I think it’s the best playing organic yoyo CLYW has put out yet, in their 20 years. I think it’s also my favorite feeling organic from them, a title previously held for years and years by the Creep. What’s funny is that you can totally feel the Peak lineage, while it absolutely rips in the modern performance department (a trait not typically associated with any Peak lol). It actually feels more like a Peak than a Peak 2 does, and at the same time blows pretty much every other organic out of the water. It’s similar in dimension to a Creep but feels more solid & more stable than one… and I love the increased diameter & width! Definitely add it to the list of yoyo of the year nominees, unsurprisingly which are most made up of CLYW’s for me, since they’ve really been popping off with the killer releases this year for their anniversary. Summit 2, Legacy Peak & now P3AK… what a time to be a CLYW fan - maybe the best ever, coming from someone who’s been around for most all of it. Thank you @unklesteve for your hard work on all this banger stuff! Excited to cop one in BORING SILVER to beat to hell :fire::fire::fire:

I hope they make a million of them, I feel so fortunate to have snagged a S2, I knew I wouldn’t stand a chance at a legacy, and I love to hear all this praise on the 3rd edition.

Spoils Contact from Atmos. It plays flawlessly and has a little unique birthmark, I actually find it really cool looking. This, along with a spoils gatorade polyberry with a touch of wobble and 100 cloudweave.

I’m so grateful I was able to get this as my first and only 888. As such I don’t feel any disappointment over it not being like any certain older models or the like. It was pretty spot on with what I had hoped/imagined it would be. I love this thing… it does “little” so nicely. Thanks @Veedo so much!!!

This one is the Legendary 888 with titanium rims. It’s very nice. The finish on the body and rims is so smooth to the touch and just pretty. It feels very premium and powerful, but small and cute as can be at the same time. All of my other small yo-yos are all business and this one is business too, but more like sharp business casual. I can only imagine any of the aluminum models quickly becoming a regular go to just because it feels so good to hold and throw. I may end up having one myself. :thinking:

They are great! All of them! People dunk on the 888x/ post 08 models, but I love mine!!! The reissue is also fantastic, the finish on my black one feels stellar. I have a silver 888x from 2010 that has been thrashed a bit with flat spots an all but still plays hella smooth. 888rGr8!
I think as long as your palete hasn’t been spoiled by the “glory” that is the ‘07/‘08 888, you will love which ever you get if you enjoy slightly undersized throws and want to try hubstacks

The Legendary is probably the best playing 888, the QC on mine sucks though.
See that white ring in the ano where the titanium rim sits?
08 is my favorite but I’ve only owned a high wall 07, it was just way too light feeling. The 08 is honestly very similar to the Legendary.
