Its a very nice yo. It’s a bit wider than what I usually play but I seek differing shapes in a plastic. Its good and cheap.

My new EDC, which I’ve named Bluejay🪶, landed today. Blueberry🫐 is looking forward to a well deserved rest and vacation 🏖.

Well, I used to have the [Unknown version](https://yoyoexpert.com/products/kagerou-yoyo-by-japan-technology?variant=42816290259134) of the OG Kag. I always felt like the OG Kag was my best performing yoyo.. fairly similar to a Klondike. Even though I rate the OG Kag slightly higher than the Klondike.. I mostly played with my Klondike because I treated the Unknown OG Kag like a shelf queen.
Well, the specs and shape of the 2026 Kag **really** appealed to me when I saw it. So much so that I decided to sell my Unknown Kag for the exact funds to purchase a 2026 Kag. I don’t regret doing so. The 2026 Kag feels like a perfect refinement/upgrade in pretty much every way\*. And, since it’s not a limited/rare Kag.. I plan on playing the snot out of it.
\*I can’t speak much on horizontal play though haha (never got around to learning it lmao)
\*Both the OG and 2026 Kag are both frickin amazing
\*Never tried a 2024 Kag

Hard to beat this mail day that totally caught me off guard. Especially because it was all due to someone’s kindness and generosity.
Story time:
Some time around April, I got a message on IG from a yoyoer in Singapore who said that his friend who wasn’t on social media wanted to buy some of my 3d-printed fixies.
So I gave him my email and was able to get in contact with his friend. He is a Singaporean fixie aficionado named Hans.
Hans ended up buying a whole set of 3d-printed fixies, and would take time (weeks) playing one model before stringing up the next one. We’d then exchange emails once in a while, talking all about fixies. During one of our conversations, I mentioned that I’m passively looking for a BC No Jive, as I had given mine to my brother. Our last conversation was around mid-June.
Fast forward to yesterday, I received a text message from the local post office, saying that a parcel of mine was ready to be claimed. I wasn’t expecting any mail, but since my uncle was heading out on his boat (our neighborhood has been flooded for 27 days and counting) I decided to tag along and visit the PO.
I arrived at the PO and there it was, a package from Singapore. I was speechless — it was from Hans who I hadn’t heard from in months. And then when I got home, my jaw dropped when I unboxed the package and saw all of these. Inside was a note from Hans, saying that he found a BC No Jive and remembered our conversation, and decided to send it to me along with “some” stuff.
