It’s fun! It took me awhile to get it responding good but it’s playing great now. I’ve never held a blackbird before. In my head, I definitely was expecting more, like, no-jive-ish dimensions but it’s smaller and rounder. I’m really enjoying it so far. ---

The paint job and it has a decent amount of wobble to it. Once it gets spinning fast though, it’s not too noticeable. ---

Infrequent mail day filled with some video game stuff and a CLYW Wish. I borrowed a Wish from @OhDavidBowie a few years back, and only now got one for myself. I held it in pretty high regard for so long, yet never felt like pulling the trigger. It’s not a very exciting yoyo, but the Borealis is one of my favorite yoyos, and having some extra power behind it is nice. I’m more partial to the Borealis 1 over 2, but I do think that the modified profile of the 2 makes a lot more sense within the context of making a Borealis bimetal.
