I purchased this maple yoyo from the big box store in the cloud. It is actually an experiment. It throws well and feels good in the hand. It feels a little heavy and seems very dense. I’m working on it. Small runs are the problem. I am looking for a yoyo to give as an award for a writing competition. I have logo art and a couple of lines of text I was laser etched on the sides. So far, I have had little luck with commercial laser etching companies. I am considering the purchase of a laser etching machine… ---

If you already like his yo-yos you’re going to enjoy this. It’s kind of like a smaller diameter chunk. I wasn’t sure where I’d land with it before I played it as I generally don’t like smaller diameter stuff. But I honestly don’t even notice it when playing. The base dunk shape and the approach to his releases is just so genius I could talk about it for 20 minutes straight. There’s supposed to be another drop this month too so you should have an opportunity. ---
