I got a pair from Boise in today too! The fixie is my favorite. I love mine but it also turns out it’s not an OG lol. It’s a fair bit bigger than the actual OG. So it must just be a one off of some kind. It was listed when I bought it about a year ago directly from Gates as “wooden yoyo” lol. ---

I was curious what this was about, as an uncultured westerner, so after some digging I have found that Fukuzawa Yukichi was an advocate for reform in modern Japan.
