Nah gotta respectfully disagree. ✋ There’s plenty of ways to add flavor and boiling beans with bacon is wildly ineffective. 🫠🤗 The time of rendering down bacon fat by boiling and making sure the beans have cooked long and hot enough to remove the waxy texture from them isn’t the same. Plus most people just strain and toss the liquid and cold rinse the beans to shock them and stop them from cooking further anyways. 😅 Use some chicken stock or broth instead of water, garlic shallots or herbs, and a bit of bacon grease if you really wanna add flavor to the beans. :wink: End of the day you do you. 😁 ---

Got two small mail days this week before the huge one comes in! This first one is a YoyoSkeel Stellar, a budget bimetal made by a local Malaysian brand, owned by Shakeel Rose, a multi national champion!
