I did notice the slippy pads, but I also live in the Midwest. I bet these pads play super fantastic in Florida because, when I warm my yoyo up I get super snappy binds. It’s been in the single digits or colder here for a few weeks, so I assume that is the cause. It plays fantastic once it’s warm though. It might take over sudo and end 2 as my favorite. The other 4 (vintage butterfly, the thing, kasm, no jive) came from @aironish and I just gotta say, I feel like I came out like a bandit with this deal. The vintage 🦋 plays like a dream, something I always assumed about the vintage ones. Glad to finally have my hands on one. The thing is so snappy and fun. The kasm plays so much better than any 3D printed yoyo has any business playing. And the no-jive? Why did I wait so long to try one. It’s so very perfect. One of the most fun fixies I’ve ever played. Now I want to collect them all. I do wish they had the engravings showing on the butterfly configuration but what can ya do! 🤷‍♂️ So stoked on all of these. What a fantastic mail day. ---

Always seem to get nice tight binds with these. Really like the feel of the Bathysphere with brass ultralights. Although, the engraved side effects really tie the whole throw together…Will probably swap those back in soon. 😁 ---

I thought about changing the pads out, but I really prefer not to with a brand new throw, if I can avoid it. Honestly, after a day of playing it or maybe even just playing in a room 70F or warmer, binds are tight like a tigah. I love this throw!!! I tend to agree on the side effects. I really like the way it plays with mini spikes. I really want to find some brass mini spikes, but I’ll prob switch back to the engraved. They definitely tie it all together as you say. ---
