I was really tempted to go for the black with gold hub that Doc was selling directly, but I figured it had been too long since I’d sent my custom to our hosts. (And the Green DIY rocks too.) But that black on black color scheme is just too cool. ---

(Thanks @yoyoknight for the heads up.) So I got this for free, but without any express or implied expectation of a good review, and it’s really nice! It has some fingernail vibe, but, frankly, it’s smoother than the Superstar I got in last month’s aMAYzing. The fingerspin cup should probably be satined to reduce friction, but it’s an easy catch and the profile provides a big target for the bind. What immediately jumped out to me was the size and shape. 50mm wide with a 55mm diameter, according to the specs on the website. It dwarfs the n5 and might be best described as like a monometal IQ. That HM gives me feelings. I pre-ordered a HM and got the 1 colorway i didn’t want. That blue with gold rings. Just not a fan of color gold. But I have a HM now that is blue with silver rings for the feels. ---
