DD Emotion
Initial impressions are great. In play, it reminds me a lot of the Elevation—a tad heavier, solid and absolutely locks on finger grinds. The chunky rims are definitely unique on the catch. I definitely want to point out the finish. I’ve got a lot of clears, and this one is unique in both feel and appearance. Very “antique-like”, and I love it. I think someone said it was as close to how steel feels you can get, and I think that’s accurate. Awesome job, @hobbygod ! Very cool throw that’s got a permanent spot in my rotation. 😁
Oh, and it looks right at home on my Jeep’s shifter. Even matches the metal accents.

Markmont strings plus I needed strings for the wood fixed axles and more flat bearings…also another collection goal of some of the cheapest yo-yos I could get and this rain city rebrand because I hadn’t hit the 50 for shipping and I liked the transparency behind the yo…don’t know how to justify that one for the collection tho…maybe responsive 5a?

Mikemonty Mori, so far it looks like a top 3 yoyo 😃 The specs are nice and the shape already looked great based of experience with the pfulvia
Update: Its top 3, but here are some things I would change:
- Less width, I feel its a bit too wide
- More weight for a bit less speed
- Something to make rejections easier (Im noob)
Visually a winner too
Unfortunately it was a bit predamaged, no big deal though (Its basically vibeless, even after unscrewing).

Came home from work and had this waiting for me.
Question: Do all Alebrije’s have a rattling type sound when you throw them fixed? Sorta sounds like something’s loose but everything is tightened down snug. @jeduardo, have you encountered this before?

Sent you a short video via Instagram DM. I checked that the correct inside bits were being used. Maybe I need to crank down on it more and seat the outside caps better? Just scared to order tighten it and crack the wood.
