Have REALLY cooled off the buying lately… but there are some throws that are just wayyy too good looking to pass up - and the Unknown W!LD is absolutely one of those yoyos. This and the BBB Klondike are IMO by far the best looking yoyos of 2023.

Oh man, that’s not cool. I was actually thinking about ordering some myself. I am a big fan of Type X and now I’m using it the most. But I do like something a bit thicket for a heavier yoyo with a bigger gap, and for some reason I just don’t love the Plutonium like I do the Type X. So I was thinking Cumulus Foam.
I think I might like the Cumulus Foam that I tried as part of a sample pack a lot, except I am not positive it’s actually Cumulus Foam because I have a bunch of strings around that I haven’t labeled or anything so I only actually know what they are if they have a really distinct color or if it’s a string that I am just really familiar with.

Haha I actually stand by that statement even moreso after putting in more time with the W!LD. Feels FANTASTIC in play but has kinda awful/rough hand feel/catch tbh. Klondike clears by a lot IMO. I wasn’t gonna get one but this just looked WAYYY too good to pass up, it’s probably my favorite looking Unknown, at least that I can remember.
And as far as the collection pic goes lol… it took me like an hour+ to get them all out of their cases and organized for a pic the [last time I did it](https://forums.yoyoexpert.com/t/the-official-yoyo-showcase-show-off-your-collection-see-others/3784/361), so a full collection pic is like a once a year thing nowadays haha. Good news is the year is VERY close to being up so that means I’ll have to take a new pic soon 🕶

Also the Unknown Wish look amazing in my opinion, this one and the Wish are my favourite graphics, seriously a great job this one appealed me so much that ngl I was ready to buy it even if you said about the Klondike being too similar, instead I took a lovely Motif from UNPRLD (which I am loving for tech playing).
Are the rims matte or any way grind friendly? Literally no one in bimetal yoyos think about make the rims friendly to grinds, in this way if you touch the yoyo during tricks you do not mess up but it just slide in your finger and you can continue, sometimes I hate when I am creating combos or performing one and I do the mistake to touch the stainless steel and destroy the whole combo

Is the new Sense - Next Journey, it is a super comfortable yoyo to play, not competition oriented but still done for modern playing, is 35$ and is so good, out of the box it is perfect, bit slippy in binds with original pads but I do love it, first time I meet a yoyo so nice out of the box! The colourway are super cool but forget finger spins, the inside of the cup is a whole engraving!

On the W!LD? Yeah, they’re matte and much more grind friendly. Wish more bimetals were like this, including the Klondike. Maybe the Unknown Klondike can get some matte rims? 👀

Finally there is someone that thought about it, such a stupid little thing that no one think about!
Is something I question myself everytime I play with a bimetal, why to do not treat the rims as well it improve playability in case of mistake but also it feels nicer in my opinion, I am not a fan of glossy yoyos in general it make me feel like my hands become sticky and even worse in summer

“Sometimes too much and sometimes nothing”
Was a while without mail days and now I get basically 2 in one day!
Beautiful UNPRLD - Coglite more than mint from @Pinktweetybird that sent me this yoyo for an amazing stealing price and in pristine conditions, thanks again mate also for all the strings to try 🥰.
Played with it quite a bit but still those are first impressions and I have to say that again this yoyo is amazing, I imagine that, based on the Cognition series, this yoyo is a tech beast in every sense, always wanted a Recognition that played lighter as many here knows my hand nerves are basically gone so I need to throw quite light yoyos if I want to play for 4 hours a day as I do, this yoyo other than have the bimetal benefit it has all the recognition benefits, amazing spin time and amazing manouvrability at a super light weight (it does feel like a feather), nimble but angry, I can easily see this as competition yoyo able to handle every single trick, get released in 2021 and feels like released yesterday such a master work from UNPRLD.
