couldn’t resist Hideyoshi with this finish. I am liking it so far but it came in just a cloth bag in the box that yoyoexpert shipped it in and has a little bit of vibe. Guess Sengoku doesn’t spend much on packaging. With a trimetal I do expect a bit of vibe so it’s like not that big of a deal, but here I am complaining about it. Is it normal for this yoyo or maybe it got bonked around too much in shipping?
Besides the slight pulse it plays so nice. It feels like the rims can carry so much momentum and controlling it is easy. It plays way heavier than 63 grams, in a good way! The blast on the finish feels good too :+1:
edit: at least i cant really feel the vibe on the string? I can see it pulsing slightly if I just dangle it but in play its great. worth doing something or nah? I’m really on the fence but it is a 150 dollar yoyo,

I think I’m probably just gonna live with the little vibe and play it. I just gave it a nice 45 minute run before my string started losing integrity. The blast on this finish is a bit rough and it was eating through the string. I am currently giving it the ol denim rubdown in the gap to see if I can stop it from eating string.

Thats a bummer on the vibe, seeing as you cant really “re-set” the weight rings as they are in-set from the outside rim. Extra bummer for a special edition you get cut strings and vibe.

Yeah I’ve tried a few bearings and flipped the axel and stuff, the vibes probably just from the rings. Rubbing blue jeans for a long while does seem to have stopped/majorly slowed the string cutting. I’m throwing it today and if it stops cutting strings I’m not gonna have any real issue.
Really not an ideal experience though lol
edit: ~45 min to an hour string is starting to cut. 😭 I’m gonna see what they can do.
