His posts were a major determining factor in my purchase of a Klondike! I think itās a reeeeally good yoyo after some time on it. Easy S tier in my opinion. Last time I bought a yoyo that someone was this excited about was the Hades thanks to @GTDropKnot and that became my favorite yoyo ever real quick. These dudes have good taste!

p.s. not to diminish your enthusiasm, which is perfectly right but for clarification, if it has different specifications/characteristics from the production model, yes, it is a prototype, otherwise I would say it would be more correct to call it pre-productionā¦ whatever the case, enjoy it! :+1::+1::+1:

I specifically didnāt use the term pre-production, as it was sold to me by Steve as a āproto,ā weighs a bit less than the production, and itās VERY hard to tell in photos but the nipple on the proto is a HAIR smaller than the production (might explain the slight weight difference as literally everything else seems the same).

I personally believe that two tenths of a gram are within normal production tolerances. I was also asking you because it would have been interesting to know how an exemplary a few grams lighter or heavier, or wider or narrower, than the stock model played, which moreover it is said we have never been madeā¦ maybe the rule was valid " good the first time" :wink:

Still Rollinā from One Drop.
Initial thoughts:
- powerfull and with a decent string-presence, way more hefty than the weight suggests
- nimble, not floaty and with a kind of an aggressive feel
- concave/centering beering (like always) shaves down the unique chararcter and tames it by a good margin
- good but not outstanding comfortable in hands/on catch
- slightly thinner or normal sized string works better than āthickā-labeld stuff
- first conclusion after ~ one hour of play: Interesting throw from OD. More agressive and hefty than I thought. Feels pretty unique to me and like nothing I know from them (maybe like a narrower, slightly lighter top deck?)

I can second everything Tomcat wrote. I found that Energy Domes work perfectly with the Still Rollin. They are ātamingā (nice metaphor by the way) it even more towards feeling less aggressive. With the Energy Domes the āenergyā seems more concentrated towards the middle of the cup which gives it a fuller yet softer presence in my opinion. In this setup itās climbing towards my top 5 Onedrops throws I feel.

At this point I sure would recommend getting one. Iām pretty happy with mine.
As of describing the play feel I would only repeat the impressions Tomcat shared in the post above mine :wink: I will say though that the Still Rollin so far is the one Onedrop throw where Iāve experienced the most significant differences in play and feel when changing Side Effects. So far I found
Ultra Lights: Aggressive, more stable, almost feeling a bit rim weighted
Flat Caps: Less Aggressive, less stable
Lego Hubs: like above
Energy Domes: Nicely balanced with a āfullerā and overall more āsofterā feel
Domes: Half way between Energy Domes and Flatcaps
Those are just my first impressions after playing around a bit with those Side Effects after the Still Rollin arrived. Nothing final here.
