The size is going to take some adjustment, but it has plenty of stability and string presence.
The Nitro is one of a few undersized yo-yos that I really enjoy, and I already like this at least as much.

I saw there was only one left in one of my favorite colorways, so I ordered the Topyo Annihilation and another gold DS bearing. Which I am glad I got the DS because the stock topyo bearing was loud as heck. I need to clean it and see how it does but for now I just cleaned and lubed the DS and put it in here. Ultra Grey pending because I’m busy today but the stock pads are fine. It spins smooth and seems pretty rim weighted so I’m looking forward to throwing it more!
Also I am seeing how tight I can get silk twisted for my strings and I reduced 10’5” 7 wraps down to 9 ft before folding and this string feels nice! Much coarser than what I was doing before. I gotta order more silk though I am out. I’ll do it once the motherboard I actually ordered that didn’t work’s refund goes through.
Which leads to the other thing I got in the mail! My aesthetic is what I can only describe as “bubble-gum vampire” where everything, including my outfits, is either all completely black or all bright colors. I couldn’t find a featureless black box for my PC in my price range so I went the complete opposite direction. New case and with my friend’s help basically rebuilt the whole thing. The only parts that were still ok were the video card, (I’m so thankful the 2080 was fine) the ram, and my SSD. We think my old PSU fried the 5v bus or something because even the fan controller for my old all in one cpu watercooler (and the cooler itself) died. Stock cooler’s fine for now but I’ll be upgrading it.
Matchy-Matchy with the Miku case and Annihilation! The Neon Genesis Garfield sticker was a gift from a friend.
Loving the mass of the Annihilation so far though, even having thrown it only a few times.
