Yeah pics would be good, stainless steel will usually always have some sort of machining marks and what not on them, it’s completely normal. If there are marks and scratches in the ano that’s another thing. And if it’s vibing bad because it should be very smooth

Ya, I’m very familiar with SS machining marks since I’ve mostly collected TPs lol. I’ve had some arrive with quite a lot of them and its whatever. This one just shocked me a bit cuz it was covered in them and some of them are deep gouges that are easy to feel where normally the surface scratches from machining that I’ve dealt with are mostly smooth and in a line rather than a pit. I tried to take a picture that shows both. All marks on the left side of photo are what I’m used to seeing and the deeper marks are on the right side from the middle mark of photo. Mine plays smooth so it’s all good. Mostly just wondered if other people had the same experience with this particular yoyo, or if you’d consider this normal for a new one. Thanks!

I’ll be honest, I’ve gotten some marked up stuff before but that one does seem a little extreme to me. Sorry you got a rough one mate, glad its still smooth tho :heart:

Weird, yeah no that’s definitely extreme, I would be disappointed that wasn’t b-graded. Usually the machining marks follow the curvature of the yoyo and these are clearly not machining marks. Seems like shipping damage or maybe someone was sliding it around on a not so soft surface.

I like the Infinity Weights and the Monster Ball. I like the Kasm shaped weights; they feel very disc like, kind of like a thick coin. I’ve been trying weird tricks like landing the weight flat side on the throw with not a lot of success, or just landing a stall and coin flipping the weight to switch hands. The Kasm weight is a touch lighter which pairs well with the Kasm but might be light for a heavier throw.

I’ve found if you chat with the folks you bought from about stuff like this without expecting anything and just have a genuine conversation they are more than happy to try and make things right in some way. Depending on the situation of course.

AL7 Respawn Lite. The Respawn is one if my all time favorite responsive throws, and I wanted one for responsive freehand. The Clear AL7 was the correct choice to save my Nebula/RBG from 5A damage lol
