I got two Static Waves off of the BST. The Wave is my EDC and I’m glad to add these to the collection. Got the Beater on sale elsewhere and it’s been a lot of fun. It’s heavy, fast, and spins forever.

Oh same here! I hate it when I see someone unscrew the yoyo right out of the package haha! Makes my skin crawl for some reason 😋 I live in a pretty humid area too so it’s definitely something to consider. I think for this particular peak it had something from the factory in it. I gave it a good clean and there was some kind of sediment in the jar afterwards. It’s much smoother now thankfully.

I received some yoyos I sent off for hardcoat anodising locally. It was a risk, but they all turned out great.
Hardcoat anodising creates a surface as hard as tool steel. This makes these Steadfasts that are already 7068 even tougher.

Ohh good. I ordered some p44 string 2 months ago and have started to wonder if it’ll be another 2 months to see them. Just one more it seems.

Where did you buy yours from? I picked up two at Nats and one here on YYE, and all three were glass smooth and mint as could be. Didn’t even look touched by human hands. Def hit up whoever you bought it from, it has to be some type of mix up.
