Sweet. The description only listed monometals and bimetals. Didn’t know any Delrins would be included. Loving the Sk8r. I think you got the best Author colorway … but I think you already have one? Hope you enjoy the Guitarist. I was playing with my “sorry grade” one a few minutes ago, an older colorway no longer listed but my absolute favorite colorway of any yoyo I own … can’t find the name, but it’s the green-silver-blue one.

Hey, thanks for the reply! The boxes were supposed to have mono- or bi-metal throws, but I actually emailed the team at RCS to let them know they can add some of the plastic throws if it helps fill out the box (I wasn’t sure they’d have 9 different metal throws available for the 3 boxes).
I don’t actually have an author yet, and I’m really happy with the color I received. Same with the Deluge - I absolutely love the color on it.
I’m a HUGE fan of the Sk8r already! It plays and feels so amazing, I love the shape and the way it feels in the hand. Plus I love the color when it is spinning, it becomes a kind of orangish-pink blur. The Oh Canada colorway is also super neat! I also like the orange Pop Art, I liked the white on the website but it’s awesome having some color.

I picked up one of the Freehand Neos. I was on the fence between getting green or pink, but I went with Green because it reminded me of the color of N64 controller and Game Boy Pocket I played when I was a kid. Had to keep the matching 90s theme.
The FH1 still rules. I didn’t need to put on a string, cut it to length, or really do anything. You just tear open the package, fish the string out of the gap, and you can immediately start playing yoyo. There’s something comforting and nostalgic about it. It makes me wish random people could pick these up in stores in real life and have the same experience.

If these butterflies are anything like the old ones and you wanna try a killer mod on one while halfswapping, consider picking up a 1/4" (or whatever matches the metal axle inside, it used to be 1/4" at least) wooden dowel rod, and epoxy that inside to replace the metal axle.
