It’s really helped me consolidate my understanding of EDC. Unlike other yoyos I carry, I pull this one out far more readily in situations where I would not normally do so. It comes much more naturally with this yoyo. This might be a good definition of EDC; a yoyo you will carry and pull out your pocket and throw almost subconsciously. The fact that The yoyo is 80% sized KNack, including the string length means you can shoot the moon in rooms you would not ordinarily be able to. ---

Not technically a fixed axle, but still a wood axle for this Friday. I took the wood axle from my Spintastics Wood Axle Torch and dropped it into my Buzz-On Element X. Plays surprisingly well. I came back a couple days early and YYE welcomed me home with this waiting for me to unbox. I’ll be honest that I kind of convinced myself that it was a novelty shape that would just be cool to have. Now that I have it, I’m amazed that it’s actually really comfortable in the hand and enjoyable to throw. It lets me know immediately when I have a bad throw or do not stay on plane. It’ll take some getting used to but I’m looking forward to that. My collection is full of sharp Vs and I’m glad I took a risk on something different. Glad you like it. If I’m having a Good Throwing Day, I really like the Fat Tire. If it’s a Wonky Throwing Day I get frustrated with it. It really lets you know when you are off and looks you in the eye and says: “Yeaaaah, why dontcha try a STRAIGHT throw now?” ---

Also… Between this combo and a trade I’ve got 3 new Duncan models recently. These didn’t come with the standard yellows they usually pack in.
