I used acrylic paint and clear coat, three coats of each! (Both with a paintbrush) It feels a little sticky, but I wanted a durable finish so that’s what I did.

Since the paint and clearcoat is so thick maybe a really fine grit of sandpaper would put a nice comfortable feel on it. I bought 3 of those yoyos. I woodburned the first two and want to paint a design in the center of the last one.

Throwback Thursday here. Recently got some shims and they’ve changed the Lyn Fury especially. DM2 is still my favorite overall and best performer, but I find myself picking up the Lyn Fury even more than the Hitman even though the latter plays better.

Thanks! I love it as well. Wasn’t sure just from the photos on eBay, but so slick in person. Super happy with the buy - a shade under $30. Only real issues are a moderate scuff on each rim from previous owner.

Nice throw, but not sold on the brew. Have yet to meet an IPA I like. It’s my firm belief that hops should be for preservation only and not flavoring (my friend and I say we might as well suck on a flower). What are the flavors of that one? Oh, and how many IBUs?

I can respect that. Might not be my jam, but I won’t disparage anyone for liking a beer type that I personally disparage lol. I keep trying IPAs, though, because they make so many anymore and because some of the flavors sound amazing. Same result every time lol. I’m sure there are plenty of folks who think my favorites (stouts and proper German wheats) are yuck.

I have a very old Pentax K-5 with a basic 50-200mm telephoto lens. For a cheaper lens, it has very nice bokeh.

Stouts and German wheats are my favorites! I pretty much like anything where I can taste more than just the hops… which is why I’m not a big fan of IPAs either. There’s a few I like though. Aw crap… now I want beer, and I’m fresh out.
