Yeah I haven’t been able to put down the STR. It was a total wild card for me since I didn’t know what to expect but I’m glad I took a chance.
IMD is a bit more of a traditional bimetal. I heard it described as a lighter Pragma which I get but the narrower weight rings really make it feel different than the Pragma’s chonky rings. Like the Pragma makes me think of something more like the Silenus’s shape whereas the IMD is closer to your typical bimetal V IMO. That said I got it for like $40 so it’s a steal.

I think all the solid color Respawns (other than prototypes) have engravings of some kind on one side.

This happens to me so often with yoyos! I see photos of my yos online, but then I get them and they look SO much better in person!

I totally agree!
As far as I can tell the photos(no matter what co.) are always visually lacking compared to in person. My monguhopper had me apprehensive about its brown before purchase- in person it’s finish is excellent(which I imagine is uncharacteristic of brown😉)
The result though is that you will almost always be pleasantly surprised upon arrival.
