This guy that I finally found at a Target. Huge improvement over the original XT and it easily passes my “Shoot the Moon” test that I do with a responsive throw. For $5,this is a great gateway into modern responsive play.

Finally got a quiet bearing to put in my Top Deck, so I’ve been using it to learn Charles’ roll tech combo.
There is something about the design of this yoyo that exponentially amplifies bearing noise, and if a bearing isn’t close to dead silent it gets annoyingly loud during play.
My biggest yoyo pet peeve is loud yoyos. It can be the nicest, most coveted yoyo on the planet — if it’s loud I will not play it.

That’s odd cuz all my Top Decks are pretty quiet. I have Boss Rage bearings in them, and I don’t lube them, though sometimes they seem to come from Jake already lubed a little.

My Machination has been doing that. My theory is that there are fine particles of some kind lounging in the bearing seat, and as I play with the yoyo they work loose and get into the bearings (mine are rarely shielded).

Man, those caps really bring me back! I miss YYJ and JD is still in my mind one of the coolest yoers ever!
I wouldn’t personally consider this green. I know some people would consider it ‘neon green’…but to me it’s yellow.
Duncan makes a Pro Z and claim it to be ‘neon green’ and it looks a lot like this hitman…but again, to me, it’s yellow…so as ridiculous as I am, I don’t count it as part of my green collection lol.

Today ive been bonding with RSO Spaceship! I _really_ like this one!! I could see it being a top choice for me as first pick out of the yoyobag. The sound is just the best!! I love that its slightly understable, comfy, like a mini 420, but titanium. Alien theme gets me on a personal level, and the Neon green response pads is my jam! The packaging and extras of this thing is off the charts! Just unscrewing the capsule just oozes premium experience before you even get to the yoyo.
Ill prolly be wringting a full review soon, but WOW! what a throw!! \<3
