I didnā€™t realize this had a deeper pad recess than most other CLYWs, so I swapped one half back to a snow tire. I know that fails PA safety inspection, but Iā€™m a Licensed safety and emissions Inspector and I understand the risk, just making do with what I have. It actually plays really well with half and half and I think is suits the halfswap really. ---

Than the Decade? Or the original 888? The decade is just slightly larger diameter and width, within a mm just eyeballing it; like a 1/16 of an inch each way. Not sure what the difference is between the 888 and the OG, I just know there are many subtle iterations and get the impression that this oneā€™s the black sheep when itā€™s brought up ---

Nah, people hold the 07-09 888 to be ā€œthe bestā€ 888 and that the 888x and others from 2010 on just arenā€™t the same, are a brick on a string, etc. ---
