I’m afraid that I have never tried a Fractal. Early impression is that that FGAl compares favorably to anything similar that I _have_ tried. Could just be coincident to other yo-yos I have been playing, but it seems like it over-delivers on spin time and stability for it’s weight on the string. Especially for a monometal. Very nicely balanced. One of those yo-yos where right out of the box every trick seemed easier and more consistent. Again, could be a coincidence, but quite a first impression! ---

I use 100% poly most of the time, I tie my finger loop knot with an 1-1/2" loop pull tight and then cut the extra leaving about a 1/2" with a concealed cutter similar to one on a multi tool. I’d recommend one of these as a spare. If you’re watching TV in bed, it still works when you’re on your side under a blanket.
