Put a pair of gray YYJ shims in, and started playing with it unresponsive starburst style… This yoyo is still so good. Its the first yoyo that really impressed me with the floaty and smooth feel a yoyo can have and I was sold on the performance of c bearings from that point on. I discovered YYJ through Infinite Illusions/yoyoguy.com after linking to the store from sector-y. So many cool and experimental models in those days, especially hybrid and o ring response, I thought that friction stickers were kind of a scam for a broke college student and I wanted long lasting response at the time. I got this Matrix at the same time, these changed my game allowing me to find flow and string much longer combos together and still get return to my hand.
