As I really love this yoyo and using it daily I knew the ding was behind the corner, I will have to buy another one as back up as I am really unreliable with my throws.

Long exposure night shot of the Hatrick II, which is my favorite organic to come out in a LONG time. @the_general absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one - this and the Legato are by far some of his best work. If you like organic yoyos you will LOVE this thing, don’t sleep on it when it drops.

So this is obviously not the usual throw in any way, shape, or form, BUT there’s a very cool story behind it. Every time I go into the Jersey Mikes near me, I usually always have a yoyo with me and am throwing some tricks while my sandwich is being made. Awhile back, one of the dudes behind the counter noticed and told me he appreciated the tricks, since he actually is a kendama player, which was pretty awesome to hear. Fast forward to today, he was there and as I was paying, he told me he had actually been keeping a kendama in my car for me, and said he was gonna go grab it. I misunderstood and was just like “oh cool, he’s gonna grab one of his to show me some tricks in person” but then he HANDS it to me and I was like “Wait what?” all confused. He’s like “It’s yours! I got it for you, this is for you to keep!” And I was like “WHAAAT?!” Tbh, I’ve never used a Kendama in my life but this thing is effing FUN and totally addicting. It gives me that same old feeling of successfully landing your first few yoyo tricks. Thank you Dallas for my first Kendama! I’ll be playing with it all weekend, and next time I’m in, I’ll have a FH1 for ya 🤘

On my way to work, i was throwing in the subway as i always do, and this is the 5 or 6th time I’ve been offered a $$ donation, usually it’s just a dollar and i pass politely and ask that they donate to someone that actually needs. This time i was totally impressed, the woman offered me $15! She was clearly not in a position to give me that $ based on her dress (but who am i to judge)…i was very greatfull, and declined as usual, but i was really impressed that she felt my tricks where worth it. I gifted her a office proyo with my info on it said “Happy Holidays” and got off at the next stop.
Happy to end my year of commuting with such a good vibe. Happy new year to everyone.

Doing a taste test between the Legend and the OG. Legend has a NSK DS bearing in it and the original has the original bearing and pads. I’m by no means a pro but they feel similar. The Legend plays faster and smoother. But probably too many variables to make a legit comparison.
