I call her my ‘life coach’ because she’s really helped me piece my life back together and has been a huge help in keeping me motivated and heading in a forward direction. So much has changed in the past 2 years…and I feel more stable now then I have in MANY years in life. Plus big things are happening in my future and things are looking really good for me (though things are going very slow!)…and she’s been key in helping me along the way. ---

I made it for my nephew, next for my daughter, because my mother made one for my older daughter before she passed. Needlepoint ws my mom’s thing so i wanted her grand kids to all have one. You couldn’t pay me to make a third! ---

Today came off with a rough start - my neighbor that was taken via ambulance the other day passed away this morning…that covid-19 hit fast and hard on him. Aside from that, a semi-lazy and productive day…went to the dentist to get taken care of (was an essential) and spoke with my boss, finding out that I’ll be able to work from home on some upcoming projects (I’m totally down to do it, will keep my brain mentally active and I’m already being paid during this time off so why not?). Lastly, no new tricks but working on smoothing out some elements I’ve been playing with and finally saw photos of the upcoming 66% H-spin Pyro…only oddity is that it’s a bimetal. ---

Were are being told that it’s extremely dangerous to the elderly and people with existing health conditions. Well a fit and healthy 21 year old girl died in the UK yesterday. Super scary. ---

last i heard it had a 3% mortality rate, and in the U.S. estimates say that it is expected that 65% of the population or whatnot are supposed to get it. just stay home, and try your best to avoid contact, social distancing lets “flatten the curve” as they say ---

Yep. In NJ they’re reporting that a 25 year old lacrosse player with no known health issues is in a coma. This is scary stuff. Protect yourselves. This will not be over by Easter as some may suggest. The health experts are predicting a peak in 2 to 3 weeks, if we stay the course. kgb ---

He was 58. Just recently heard of a 17-year-old getting taken away by this virus too. I’m staying home and not going anywhere, not taking any chances. We never know how one’s body will react to this virus. ---

Doing nothing today. Just another in an endless stream of staying away from other humans amid this COVID mess. Job is already remote, so that’s still there. But mostly just trying to get the motivation to do more house chores and not be annoyed by my children. ---

Today is my first actual “Work at home” day. Thankfully I have the software at my disposal that I also use at work. I’m already being paid for the time off as it is so figured I may as well stay mentally active and keep my mind off of these stressful times. Hopping between working on some graphics-related projects to getting up and throwing a few tricks back to the project 🙂 ---

Today is my 4th day of stopping indoors with “flu” like symptoms. Only another 3 days to go. I hope this is the Virus for me as its very mild. Others i know haven’t been as lucky. On a positive note i will be trying boing e boing and kwijibo. Oh, also chopsticks. Just noticed the error i will still have to continue social isolation as i don’t know if it was the virus. Lets all try to flatten that curve 😀 ---

Oh man that’s so awesome!! 😃 it’s crazy how well this game is able to capture the feel of the movies/books! And it’s not all that hard to learn either! The instruction book is well written and easy to follow…and then there’s these videos that do a great job of covering how to play!
