Element always made quality decks back in the day. Solid choice. What about trucks, bearings, wheels, and the other bits you need? Or does it come as a complete? ---

If you have a skate shop local I would recommend letting them get you setup. They are going to know what’s best for you and its always nice to get help from a local spot when you can. ---

My Monday was a horrible one…we just caught news of a “Shelter in Place” now for the Bay Area. At this time, all “non essential jobs” are ceasing operation, including mine…for God knows how long. Sadly, it’s all unpaid time off. I worked half a shift today as there was no real need to be there if we’re going to be down til whenever and all production coming to a screeching halt. As I was heading home, my car began to run a little off and sure enough, it threw a code. 30 miles from home I did not want to chance the drive and ended up waiting nearly 3 hours for a tow home. It’s been quite the monday for sure…This marks the beginning of “Spring Break brought to you by Corona(virus)”. Now trying to get on board with the unemployment so I can have some kind of income during this indefinite hiatus. ---

My day sucked big time too. I had a dr appointment, got a call from the office in which I agreed to a phone appointment instead of going in. Waited the entire day, never got a call, checked the patient portal, and my appointment is reported as a “no show”. I was furious. Am furious. Especially because… next available appointment is like two+ months away. 🤬 ---

Found out this evening with my car…turns out something wrong with a cylinder 1 misfire…it’s a good thing I didn’t try pushing it and do the drive home (and I was headed right for the freeway). Now no telling how costly of a fix this will be as it could be a broad number of things. ---

I work at a big resort and just before I left for work my boss texted me…our huge Rec Center is closing down. I will get paid for today and am normally off Wed. and Thurs. but was told it’s unlikely I will be called back Friday. Okay, it’s officially time I stop thinking light heartedly about This Whole Thing. I truly love my job (running all the activities and tournaments for guests) and it’s more than a just a job for me but this leaves a big void for me.
