# What are the best response pads for a 1a yoyo?

I like just CBC Standard Pads.

Yeah this is purely a question of preference and what feels best and works best for you, and it also sometimes depends on the yoyo. Personally I love flowable, but I like IrPads or CBC slim too depending on the yoyo. And I think snow tires are great too, just wish they made them in different sizes.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that maybe you should spend some time reading the postings on the board. Probably 99.999% of the questions you’ve asked since you joined have been answered numerous times here already, and as noted, most of the answers are “this is purely a question of preference”…
