Hi I just got a wedge yo-yo I love it but when I took it apart the bearing fell out and when I put it back together it made a terrible metal scratching sound and lost spin time I would love help thanks ---

Hi Andrew! you need to clean your bearing after its been dropped, heres a full video on how to do it. Can you describe what happened or show a video of the bearing being damaged. Here are a couple questions that I have about the bearing: How long did you leave the bearing in the bearing cleaner? Too much time can damage the bearing What kind of bearing cleaner did you use. I use lighter fluid Did you remove the bearing shields? Sometimes the shields can get in the way of the bearing spinning if the shields are damaged Did you put the Lube in the bearing after letting the lighter fluid evaporate from the bearing? If not the bearing can be destroyed Was the bearing damaged when removing the bearing shields? It sounds like you may need to replace the bearing.
