# Vibe by dinging

Hello guys,
I have a YYF IQ that I really like, but dinged quite a few times, once pretty badly. Now it does not have visible vibe, but quite a lot of vibe when I feel it with my nail. Do you have any way to fix that?

You probably shifted the SS ring a bit out of place. You can try to see if you can just push it back in place with your hands but that might not be possible. You can also go to a hardware store and find a length of pvc pipe and use that to push the rim back in place. Like take the yoyo apart and put it on a towel on a table then line up the pcv pipe then push. Hopefully it is just the rim shifted good luck yo

I’ll double check to see if the yyf tool works on an iq if not I can design one for the iq. I assumed the rings were to far inward to shift but it looks like you got it at just the right spot.

After messing with the yyf alignment tool, I’m not fully certain if it works with the iq or not. Reach out to yyf to see if it works with it, in the mean time I’ll try and get an alignment tool for the iq up soon.

I made one for the IQ based off the thread, but I’ve been designing and making them for a few months now. It started when I hit a miracle just right on the edge of my counter.

This image on the yyf tool page shows it being used on an iq, so it would probably work (as long as it’s not a red herring)

Wow, your rim alignment tools for specific throws are so cool. My GTR-JS hit the ground right where it became smooth again but definitely going to ya when it goes out a whack eventually.
Would any of the existing designs you have work well on an UNPRLD Nostalgia?

Thanks everyone for helping me! The problem was not the stainless steel rims shifting(I think it might have to do with the ding and that deforming the aluminum somehow idk), but thank you all for the help, especially Simyo for making a specific tool!
