I can’t make them nice and flowy, they always end up smashing the top string and abruptly stopping before coming back down like a brick. I think I have to give it some slack when it hits, but whenever I try that it always misses the string entirely -\_-

You should try this… when you have it in a trapeze looking mount (with the “knot” or whatever you want to call it in it) grab the middle string with your TH and pull it a part and drop your TH… i know it’s a little confusing but try to figure it out…
