Hi, this is my first topic here, i normally look at the forum but did not post but recently i started 2a,so i am still a novice in looping, i have a unleashed but not sure how wide you guys adjust the gap for best performence, this is just your own opinion, and should i remove the caps or leave it there?

when i took off the caps , it play too light and goes out of control pretty easily, when i put in the caps it play too heavy, i dunno if is my problem or the yoyo does not fit me?

I found how mind shipped, the gap was too small and the yoyo would not sleep. Since it is an adjustable gap, I just twisted a little bit(a few degrees) and played it again until it finally would sleep. That’s where I left them. They play fine. I’m learning looping with these.
