# Type 4 string?

So, I have a collection of Duncan Tournaments and other mid century return tops… I used to make my own type 4 string for them years ago when I played them more, but I’m wondering now if anybody makes an all cotton, type 4 string suitable for such a narrow gap. I love Tom Kuhn string but find it too thick even for some of my No Jives when I loop with them. Forget using it in technics or proyos… It would be nice to have a thinner, vintagier string on tap, were someone to make it in bulk.
