# Twisting with cotton warp string for looms?

Has anyone tried twisting string with cotton warp string for tapestry looms? I’m considering purchasing some to give it a whirl, but figured I’d tap the community’s collective memory first. And advice would be much appreciated!

Long ago I tried making string from something heavier than sewing thread, and had horrible results. YMMV.
