# Turbo disk alternative

The silver bullet 2 is quickly becoming one of my favorite yoyos. However i’m not impressed with how quickly the turbo disk wear out. Has anyone found a better alternative with better wear resistance? Considered having it cut for response pads but i don’t think the walls are thick enough.

You can use just about any pad that is thin or less than 0.5mm. I have a set of dif pads in mine but Duncan stickers would work just fine.

So normal pads work. I’ll measure some of the pads i have and see if they are thin enough. I’ll get some of those stickers. Thank you.

Yeah, standard 19mm pads will be too thick for this but any traditional pads should work.
