# tuning a yoyo

i was wondering what exactly is tuning and what it does? ???

Tuning a yo-yo requires tuning the axle to align the yo-yo halves in the best way. That best way is the heavier side of one half will match up with the lighter side of the other half. Granted those are extremely minute differences that cannot be observed very easily. Luckily tuning is very easy.
