Hey y’all, hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I’m looking through dates for the next meetup and wanted to see when would work well for everyone! I’m planning on reserving the time at the Flower Mound library sometime this week so we can make sure the room is available so let me know when works for y’all and let’s meetup and throw!

Hey y’all, bump for coordinating our next meet! Looks like next Saturday December 9th works for a few of us, does that work for everyone else? I know there were several people who were interested in meets who may not have seen that we are starting back up again. Thoughts? Just trying to gather the DFW and DFW-adjacent players in the same thread.

I will be working that weekend and the following one unfortunately 😭. Rotating schedule at my job means my weekends are always shifting around.
Looking forward to seeing some pics from the meet though! I will for sure make one eventually.

Ok, I reached out to the Flower Mound Library and they are unfortunately booked for December 9th. They also don’t seem to have a calendar that we can see to verify beforehand if dates/times are booked, but have to put in a request and hope they have availability which is a bit frustrating but it is free and they were very gracious to host us last time.
They do have availability on December 16th, so if people are available the 16th from 2-4pm we could move it back a week. I booked it then just in case. Otherwise we’ll need to find a new venue for this month. I know @Yoyomanremo you mentioned previously that you have a contact at a bookstore near you that may be open to hosting us, have you had a chance to chat with them about that possibility yet? That could be a good option if December 16th doesn’t work for people.

Hey all, since Saturday is closely approaching and we have not been able to secure a location we will be pushing the meet to next Saturday December 16th from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Flower Mound Public library since that’s when they are available. I appreciate your patience and excitement to get meets going again and hope to see y’all there!
