Hi everyone, I recently saw this video of Shingo Terada and it floored me. So I started working on learning it and got stuck immediately. It’s two seconds in, right before the first counterweight release, he flips the yo-yo on the top of the string. When I try this the yo-yo just falls. The counterweight goes the right way, but I’m not sure how to maneuver the yo-yo.Any suggestions?

Here’s the video: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6ao5VcVAcQ&feature=youtu.be](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6ao5VcVAcQ&feature=youtu.be)

Any help is very appreciated.
