Whenever I pick up a yoyo, there’s generally a few tricks I do every time. I guess you could say they’re warm up tricks. For me it’s usually boingy boing, Brent stole, Konami code, and some variation of a front style combo. There’s others. What do you guys find yourself doing when you pick up a yoyo for a few minutes? ---

Always Kwijibo, a ton of slacks and grinds (I came from a skateboarding mentality) Spirit Bomb, Eli hops, pops from any mount I can think of, and some other things. I try to refine the tricks I’ve gotten consistent with and try to drill the things I’m working on getting reliable. It helps me deal with the extreme stresses in my life which seem overabundant and unceasing. Yo-yo is catharsis. ---

I like to warm up with some whip to Kamikaze, monkey madness, candy rain, ninja vanish from brother/brother slack, 1.5 hook, over/under whip to wrist mount and spirit bomb. And grinds and spins if the yo-yo can do them. ---
