I did ask Spencer when I had a chance and yes the _technically_ correct way to do it has the bounces because it is a kamikaze-inspired trick. So the CLYW Cabin Tut and others missing that _are_ incompletely teaching the intro. W.r.t. “rules lawyering” I think it’s more like if you were to do kamikaze without hopping into the top string before falling into the mount. It’s the last piece of flair that gives a trick its signature look without which it just appears to be missing something. ---

TaW Week 13 -Rancid Milk Yeah, I know my pops suck (I think that is the hardest part of the trick for me). Regardless, getting through this one is huge for me because this is one of those tricks that seemed so far out of reach for me when I first started yoyoing. ---

The YYS Ambassador program doesn’t mean you can’t post or promote another store, they just asked if we were already in some kind of ambassador agreement with another brand. Making posts and tagging YYE isn’t really the same thing. YYE is also much broader than just a store, it’s a community that has a shop, forums, learning, etc. The stores might be competitors, albeit somewhat friendly I would imagine since the yoyo world isn’t that huge, but it’s not a violation of the Ambassador thing to post tricks and tag YYE. ---

I guess it comes down to “actively promote”. If there’s a contest something like that hosted by YYE, I could see both sides of how it could be interpreted. Ambassador and sponsorship are 2 different things. I’m a YYS Ambassador too, so it might be good to get some further clarification. Glad you brought it up. ---
