Something’s up with USPS
I also ordered from Singapore (Atmos) and it bounced back and forth forever before getting to me. Went back to the NY international distribution center a couple times but never back to Singapore.
Calling USPS did nothing to help.
Just got it in today.
Wishing you luck - it can be really frustrating.

Wow, I don’t feel so bad…
A couple of years ago I mailed a package to a location about 10 miles from the post office I dropped it at. It went from Mpls, MN to St. Paul, MN to 2 different locations in Des Moines, Iowa back to St. Paul, then Mpls, then the destination. It took 3 days and traveled 518 miles.

Mine is a package from atmos too. I ordered a spoils grade Tide, some pads and some of their new string.
I’m sure it will be worth the wait, but it’s a little irksome that it keeps getting so close and then going further away.
Trying to keep in perspective that this is a toy and it’s coming from Singapore.

Just wanted to say this is something that has caught our attention and we’re looking seriously into it.
Something’s definitely up with USPS – we’re not certain, but we suspect it might have something to do with the incoming tariff placements in August. We’ve never had an issue of USPS carrying our packages the last mile. On average, US-bound packages from us take 7-10 days. We’ve never had these looping movements from one distribution center to the next, or packages being returned for no reason – but this has suddenly become a problem with them in the last few weeks.
We’re doing our best to figure out what’s causing this and if we can put a stop to it.

Can confirm - definitely worth the wait! I’ve ordered a few times from Atmos and have never been disappointed or experienced any issues. Things usually come much faster than I expect from them.
I know it must be frustrating for Reuben too! Atmos has been great to work with and very quick to respond to me when I reached out during my shipping ordeal.

Yep, budget cuts, under staffing, and use of more contract carriers on top of the constantly changing tariff issues are resulting in lots of problems at USPS. A couple months ago I dropped a package off at the post office, and it apparently got lost under a table or something, because it took over a week before it got scanned into the system, after which it followed a normal delivery trajectory. Then a month ago I had a shipment that went from Ohio, to Michigan, to Alaska where it stayed for 5 days, then southern CA, then back up north to Reno NV, and then finally to Arizona.

I’ve been lucky and have not had an issue with USPS handling and delivery, but I honestly wonder, if there is an issue, it would be worth it to look into using UPS or FedEx. That’s the whole reason they exist. They are supposed to do a better job than USPS when it comes to handling and delivering packages.

UPS is for sure an upgrade but I can’t stand using FedEx. I’ve had lots of issue with them and I can’t help but roll my eyes when they show up in an old beat up U-Haul truck to deliver.

Honestly I’d rather support the USPS anyway. The second they get overtaken and the mail handling companies become the default for packages it’s going to be fun time (read: prohibitively expensive) mailing to rural areas. The private carriers are already insane regardless, for example last year I had to send some side effects to China for a project I was working on, my local Fedex location wanted over $130 to mail 25 pairs of side effects while USPS was able to do it for just around $30, I ended up checking UPS just for fun and USPS had them beat at the time as well.
The Phoenix AZ distribution center for USPS though is notoriously awful, I’ve definitely had packages stuck there for a week or two pretty often.

Agreed 100%. And while I’ve had issues with USPS over the years, and more so recently, I’ve had many more issues with the private carriers. Especially FedEx and OnTrac, both of which I avoid whenever possible.

I have a good (or bad) one for you.
RSO shipped out about 4 weeks or so. Typically I don’t see anything till it gets into the country (bell gardens). So it arrives in CA, I’m in Santa Cruz ca. then they send it to Puerto Rico 🤦♂️
