With the 5aven dropped, my attention is now on this year’s 2025 Pride Emulsion.
Here’s the 2nd prototype. It plays well, but it’s a bit yellow-heavy. The first proto looked better, but didn’t play well.
Back to the drawing board.
I’m planning to release this year’s Pride Emulsions on May 1st.

Proto #4 is the winner! Bright and lively! Perfect for Pride.
I will also release a Trans Pride Emulsion, incorporating silk (just waiting for the silk to come in.) It’ll probably be around $15 for a 3-pack, because of silk thread prices.

It’s very “stable,” which is the only word I can think to describe it. It’s not as fast as Inks for Elixirs, but it plays faster than Vapors or Serums. It’s good on whips and slacks. No bounce, satisfying binds. They’re slightly less soft than Vapors, but still comfortable on the finger and by no means coarse.
Definitely one of the better Emulsions I’ve come up with!
The only real issue is the price of silk. The spools I bought were MUCH smaller than I calculated.

Yup. Y’all officially ran me out of silk. More on the way! Until then, add an extra couple of days onto production time if you’re ordering Trans Pride strings.
BTW. I don’t think I mentioned this yet. Trans Pride strings are made a bit differently than regular Throw-Yo strings. A bit different in how they’re twisted.
I’m not telling, but it _does_ make a difference in how they feel.

I’d say they have a similar softness to Vapors. The silk isn’t as soft as I would have thought it to be, but the blend is still very comfortable.
